The opening of Ryerson University’s Faculty of Law is the culmination of years of consultation and planning, but it began with a bold vision: to apply our innovative approach to learning, commitment to equity, and entrepreneurial spirit to the study of law.
As part of our Ryerson Law Virtual Opening Event on September 30th, we would be honored if you would kindly record a congratulatory video greeting this week so that it can be broadcast at the event.
If you are able to oblige our request, please find additional details below:
· Greeting Timing/Content
If possible would ask that you keep your recording to no more than 20-25 seconds.
For your reference, we’ve provided the following sample greeting:
Kudos to the faculty and staff at Ryerson University for launching the law school in 2020! And congratulations to the inaugural class of Ryerson Law – you represent the future and the change we hope to see in our world! All the very best to you!
We encourage you to craft a personal message based on your role and/or past relationship with Ryerson University.
· Video Format
We would ask that you record your video greeting in 16×9 format and save the recording as either a .MOV or .MP4 file so that it can be easily edited by our videographer. (Please note that we may have to edit/shorten your recording to fit within our event schedule.)
· Greeter’s Recording Guide
We have attached a video greeting recording guide, which provides tips on presentation delivery, lighting, etc.
We hope this helps and look forward to receiving your recording by Monday, September 21st.
If you have any questions about our request, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
