Background
Cemeka Douglas is a 2019 call who earned her JD from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops, BC. While in law school, she was the President of the Black Law Student’s Association (BLSA) TRU Chapter. She also sat on the BLSA Canada Board throughout law school. During her first year, she held the position of Western Chair, and the following two years she held the position of Communications Director. Currently, Cemeka works at TD Insurance in the litigation department. In her spare time, Cemeka enjoys traveling, baking, and true crime documentaries.
