Background

Ebony Rose is the Assistant Director of Learning and Development at Fasken, where she leverages her extensive experience to create dynamic and relevant professional development opportunities for lawyers and business professionals. With a robust background in both law and education, Ebony has dedicated the past seven years to advancing professional development and learning initiatives.

Ebony graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2015 and initially practiced commercial litigation. Her passion for fostering growth and development led her to transition into legal professional development, where she has excelled in designing compelling learning experiences. Her expertise includes learning design, event planning, mentorship, and leadership.

Ebony is also a member in good standing of the Ontario Bar and holds several education and adult training certifications, including a Certificate in Law Teaching from Osgoode Professional Development and a Certificate in Adult Learning & Development from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, and more recently, a Certificate in Leadership Fundamentals from the Niagara Institute.

Ebony is particularly excited about the opportunity to serve on the board of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers. She is passionate about giving back to her community and believes that her skills and experience can make a meaningful impact. Ebony is eager to contribute to the advancement and empowerment of Black lawyers across Canada, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all members.
