Background
Since arriving in Canada in 2018, Lotus Menezes has embarked on her journey to requalify and integrate into the Toronto legal space. Originally from Tanzania, Lotus holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a Master’s degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Canada. She is admitted to both the Ontario and Tanzanian Bars.
At Barrick Gold Corporation, Lotus plays a pivotal role supporting the company’s operations across the US, Canada, and Tanzania in corporate commercial law. Beyond her legal practice, Lotus actively contributes to her community as a Director of the White Oaks and Lorne Park Community Association and as a member of Petro Canada’s Public Liaison Committee, reflecting her commitment to fostering community engagement and corporate social responsibility.
