Lathia Stubbs-Deveaux is an internationally trained lawyer. She obtained her LL.B from the University of the West Indies, Barbados in 2013, and her LL.M in Corporate Law from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. She was called to the Bahamas Bar in 2015, and the Nova Scotia Bar in 2018.
Lathia is currently a Partner at MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law in Nova Scotia, where she specializes in personal injury litigation, advocating for injured and disabled clients. With extensive experience in personal injury litigation, Lathia has represented clients at both the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.
Lathia is also a member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, and the Bahamas Bar Association.
Lathia enjoys serving as a youth leader at her church, Latin dancing, playing piano, and learning sign language.
